Abuelita's Kitchen, 2023—is a love letter to my grandmother and the lessons I absorbed in her Brooklyn kitchen. It’s where I first learned that food is medicine, where nourishment was tied not only to the body but also to the spirit. Her healing practices, steeped in cultural tradition, became the foundation for how I care for myself and my family today. In this piece, I honor the women who feed us, in every sense of the word.
